I'm back into seeing stuff,

Thankfully I'm fully recovered from not wanting to see stuff anymore.

Lots of projects are in the works and will(need) be done by the end of the week.

Hopefully people saw the slight graphical update to my blog header?

Maybe I will through in a picture for kicks. *ruffles through picasa* here are some funny pictures I took as reference for still lifes.

Arghh... my eyes

I'm getting very close to not wanting to see anything for a while. I've watched so many movies, played so many videogames, drawn so many things, looked at so much colour, taken so many pictures, remembered so much art history, worked on so much tiny jewellery that I am getting to a point were I just want to do something that does not involve looking (or listening, too many podcasts, too much music, and too many audio commentaries).

Maybe I am hitting the physical limit of my mind to process visuals into memory or something, but it is getting extremely tiring.

Otherwise, everything is going well, since I do enjoy all that was mentioned above.

First thing, is no ipod on the train to school, maybe that will give my brain a chance to catch up.

Finished my cuff

I finally finished my Norman McLaren inspired cuff.

I'm very impressed with how random things let me easily finish it. Such as, at the jewellery store, they had 2.2 mm (millimeter, not cm), interior diameter tubing in a small box of random sizes. Secondly, in a small container of randomly sized drill bits in class, a perfect match to the tubing was there.

I must be very lucky.

Redux

I had to make collage in painting, for valentins day, and decided to use an old drawing project in it. This painting is not finish, more has to be overlayed, but at this stage, they where both equally finished, though there is a significant difference in size, the painting is much bigger.

Metal's progress

I have successfully finished cutting, filing, shaping, polishing and colouring my cuff. All that is left really is riveting, which is a fairly hard part. I'm really with how it is looking.

Colour

Finally, I really get to do some colour work. It may just be a colour wheel, but I enjoyed making it. Only 3 colours, red (pinky-red, not normal red), blue and yellow, and white where used to make this colour wheel. I got to made my own black (through careful mixing) which was also very interesting.

Next week, we actually get to painting something in colour!

What's Up?

The question I hate most. I just never know how to answer.
